Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of IMD in Bhubaneswar Monday forecasted light to moderate rain or thunderstorm in several districts of Odisha.
Upto 8.30 AM of April 4: The weather agency predicted that light to moderate rain or thunderstorm is very likely to occur at one or two places over coastal Odisha, Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Dhenkanal, Malkangiri, Koraput, Nabarangpur, Nuapada, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, and Rayagada district. Dry weather is very likely to prevail over the rest districts of the state.
From 8.30 AM of April 4 to 8.30 AM of April 5: The agency forecasted light to moderate rain or thunderstorm is very likely to occur at one or two places over coastal Odisha, Mayurbhanj, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Koraput, Malkangiri, and Nabarangpur district. Dry weather is very likely to prevail over the remaining districts of Odisha.
Maximum temperature (day temperature) is very likely gradually rise by 2 to 4 degrees Celcius over the next two days and no large change thereafter at many places across Odisha.
Bhubaneswar is predicted to experience mainly clear sky and a partly cloudy sky towards the afternoon or evening. Maximum and minimum temperatures are very likely to be around 36 degrees Celcius and 23 degrees Celcius respectively.
The highest maximum temperature of 36.5 degree Celcius was recorded in Malkangiri and Titilagarh and the lowest minimum temperature of 17.0 degree Celcius was recorded in Jagatsinghpur district of the state Sunday.
