Bhubaneswar: The regional centre of IMD Bhubaneswar in its weather alert of July 3 issued a Yellow Warning for several districts of Odisha.
Upto 8.30 AM of July 4: As per the Yellow Warning (be updated), thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over Sundargarh, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Balasore, Kendrapara, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Gajapati and Ganjam districts.
In the same timeframe, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at many places over the districts of south interior Odisha, Gajapati, Ganjam and at a few places over the remaining districts of the state.
From 8.30 AM of July 4 to 8.30 AM of July 5: As per the Yellow Warning (be updated), thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at one or two places over Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Nabarangpur, Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Gajapati, Ganjam, Nuapada, Bolangir, Subarnapur, Sambalpur, Deogarh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Balasore, Bhadrak and Jajpur districts.
In the same time frame, light to moderate rain or thundershower is very likely to occur at many places over the districts of south Odisha and at a few places over the districts of north Odisha.

In Bhubaneswar, for the next 24 hours, a partly cloudy sky with one or two spells of rain or thundershower is predicted by IMD. Maximum and minimum temperatures are very likely to be around 37 degree Celsius and 27 degree Celsius respectively.
In the last 24 hours, the highest maximum temperature of 39.0 degree Celsius was recorded at Paralakhemundi while the lowest minimum temperature of 24.0 degree Celsius was recorded at Phulbani and Nayagarh, the bulletin informed.
