Boudh: In a shocking incident, some students of the Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV) here were allegedly made to stand out in the open by the school authorities as their parents or guardians did not turn up for a school meeting. Furthermore, the students who were ordered to stand outside were thoroughly drenched in rain. The unfortunate incident has triggered resentment among the students, guardians, and locals in the area.
Reports said, around 10-15 guardians skipped the meeting called by the KV authorities in the district. Acting strictly, the principal of the school allegedly asked some students, whose guardians were not present in the meeting, to wait outside the school. The guardians of the concerned students reached the school following the incident and discussed the matter with the principal. All of them condemned the untoward incident and stated that they will send a written complaint in this regard to the district Collector. The comments of the principal and the district administration could not be obtained in this regard.
