Fee exemption for some
While the application fee for SBI PO 2023 is Rs 750, candidates belonging to SC, ST, and PwBD categories are exempted from paying the fee.
Examination details
The SBI PO 2023 examination is divided into three crucial phases: Preliminary, Main, and Psychometric Test.
Preliminary Exam Details: Candidates can anticipate receiving their preliminary exam call letters in the second week of October. The preliminary exam is scheduled to be conducted online in November. The results for this phase are expected either in November or December.
In prelims, there will be 100 questions for 100 marks, covering English Language, Quantitative Aptitude, and Reasoning Ability, with a one-hour time limit.
Main Exam Information: Call letters for the main exam will be accessible by November or December. The main exam will take place in December or January, with result announcements in the same timeframe.
In the main examination, there will be 250 marks in total, with 200 marks for the objective test and 50 marks for the descriptive test. The descriptive test, which includes letter and essay writing, immediately follows the objective test. The objective test comprises four sections: Reasoning and Computer Aptitude, Data Analysis and Interpretation, General/Economy/Banking Awareness, and English Language. You’ll have three hours for the objective test and 30 minutes for the descriptive test.
Phase Three Updates: For the third phase, call letters will be available in January or February 2024. This phase involves the Psychometric test, interview, and group activities, all slated for either January 2024 or February 2024. Final results will be disclosed either in February or March.
SBI PO Salary
Presently, the starting basic pay is Rs 41,960 (with four advance increments) in the scale of 36000-1490/7- 46430-1740/2-49910-1990/7-63840 applicable to Junior Management Grade Scale-I.
The official will be eligible for DA, HRA, CCA, PF, Contributed Pension Fund, i.e., NPS, LFC, Medical Facility, Lease rental facility etc. and other allowances and perquisites as per the rules in force from time to time.
