Balasore: After receiving ‘A’ grade recognition from the NAAC, an MoU between Fakir Mohan University and Nandi Foundation was signed Monday at the conference hall of the educational institution at Nuapadhi. The Nandi Foundation will prepare the students to develop their personality and various talents and get them ready for the competitive job world. Director of student welfare and programme convener, Nihar Ranjan Raut gave information about the programme and introduced the guests and welcomed everyone. PG Council chairman Professor Sabyasachi Patnaik said that a short-term training session called ‘Mahindra Pride Class’ will be hugely beneficial for the students.
Inaugurating the programme, Vice-Chancellor Prof Santosh Kumar Tripathi stressed on the need for proper development of personality and other skills including communication. He advised the students to successfully implement the knowledge that will be imparted to them. Munmun Singh, state coordinator of Nandi Foundation mentioned that the main objective of the programme is to help prepare students for jobs and also to develop their overall personality. There were other speakers who also harped on the importance of personality development.
