Bhubaneswar: A Low-pressure area is likely to form over southeast Bay of Bengal around November 14, IMD Bhubaneswar’s midday weather bulletin read Saturday.
The weather agency also said that the system is likely to move west-northwestwards and intensify into a depression over the central and adjoining south Bay of Bengal around November 16, 2023.
Till 8.30 am of November 15, dry weather is very likely to prevail over various districts of the state.
From 8.30 am of Nov 15 to 8.30 am of Nov 16: IMD said that light to moderate rain/ thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of south coastal Odisha, Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, and at one or two places over the districts of north coastal Odisha and dry weather is likely to prevail over the rest districts of the state.
From 8.30 am of Nov 15 to 8.30 am of Nov 16: The weather agency said that light to moderate rain/ thundershower is very likely to occur at a few places over the districts of coastal Odisha and at one or two places over the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, Boudh, Kandhamal, Kalahandi, Rayagada, Koraput and Malkangiri districts. Dry weather is likely to prevail over the rest districts of the state.
The highest maximum temperature of 33.1 degree Celcius was recorded at Angul and the lowest minimum temperature of 15.0 degree Celcius was recorded at Phulbani in the plains of Odisha.
In Bhubaneswar, over the next 24 hours, mainly a clear sky is likely to persist. Maximum and minimum temperatures are very likely to be around 33 degree Celcius and 20 degree Celsius respectively.
