State Bank of India (SBI) has announced Probationary Officers (PO) prelims examination result on the official website at sbi.co.in
According to the commission, the Main examination of SBI PO recruitment 2023 is scheduled to be held December 5. The admit cards for the same will be issued shortly, it added.

This year the preliminary examination was conducted in November and with this recruitment drive the commission aims to fill up 2,000 vacancies.
Examination details
The SBI PO 2023 examination is divided into three crucial phases: Preliminary, Main, and psychometric Test.
Preliminary exam details: In prelims, there were 100 questions for 100 marks, covering English language, quantitative aptitude and reasoning ability with a 1-hour time limit.
Main exam information: In the main examination, there will be 250 marks in total with 200 marks for the objective test and 50 marks for the descriptive test. The descriptive test includes letter and essay writing. The objective test comprises four sections: reasoning and computer aptitude, data analysis and interpretation, general/ economy/ banking awareness and English language. The duration of the objective test is three hours and the descriptive test lasts for 30 minutes.
Phase three updates: For the third phase, call letters are likely to be available in January or February 2024. This phase consists of psychometric test, interview and group activities. Final results are likely to be announced either in February or March.
SBI PO salary
The basic salary for a Probationary Officer is Rs41,960 after deductions. The recent bipartite settlement has introduced four advance increments in the compensation scale for Probationary Officers.
The SBI Probationary Officers can also avail of medical allowances, lease rental/ HRA, CCA, and other reimbursements other than the basic pay as per the rules in force from time to time. The number and amount of allowances differ according to the location of the job.
