Bhubaneswar: Prepare a 100-day worksheet to implement key initiatives of the Mission Shakti scheme, deputy CM Pravati Parida instructed officials while holding a review meeting here, Monday. On this occasion, Parida discussed various schemes and activities with the department officials. During the meeting, the minister assessed the progress and impact of existing schemes, including financial inclusion, capacity building, and market linkage initiatives. Parida underscored the crucial role of the programme and acknowledged the progress made in empowering women through different schemes. She also noted the potential of such an initiative in the socio-economic landscape of a developed state.
During the meeting, the minister specifically focused on a 100-day work plan, which is aimed at accelerating the implementation of key initiatives and achieving tangible outcomes within a short span. Parida also directed the officials to strengthen community participation and involvement in Mission Shakti activities and ensure grassroots-level impact and sustainability, working towards the vision of a ‘Vikasit Odisha’. Commissioner-cum-secretary Shalini Pandit, Odisha Livelihoods Mission (OLM) state mission director cum CEO Vineet Bhardwaj and senior government officials of the department were present during the meeting.
