Bhubaneswar: Former Kendrapara MP Baijayant Panda Tuesday dismissed an opinion poll predicting huge gains for BJP in Odisha in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections and termed it as ‘audacious’.
The BJP is leaving no stone unturned to make inroads in Odisha with its 120 plus target to give a tough fight to BJD.
The ABP News-C Voter ‘Desh ka Mood’ survey predicted 16 out of 21 Lok Sabha seats in the state for BJP.
Baijayant, who resigned from the BJD in May after being suspended from the primary membership of the party in January, wrote on the micro blogging site Twitter: “A lot depends on if the challenger has the stomach to truly fight the incumbent. Not just speak against the sharp rise in crime and corruption now rampant in Odisha, but actually act on it.”
Sounds audacious. Is it likely?
Even if thr's potential, it won't happen on autopilot mode.

Speculations are rife about Baijayant being inclined towards the saffron party, even though he has remained mum on the issue. This had even led to his ouster from the BJD.
