Mumbai: Former Indian captain M S Dhoni is currently on duty with the 106 TA Batallion (Para) of the Indian Army in Jammu and Kashmir. He has joined the July 31 and will be there till August 15.

The veteran wicket keeper-batsman has taken a two-month break from cricket to serve in the army and will be staying in the valley till August 15.

It is not hidden that Dhoni is a very down to earth person. Dhoni who is very reserved in nature was recently spotted playing volleyball with other soldiers in his regiment.

After a video of him enjoying a game of volleyball went viral, another picture is now going viral on social media. In the picture, Dhoni is seen polishing his army boots. No sooner, the picture went viral it is wining millions of hearts.

Recently a video where Dhoni is playing volleyball has gone viral on the social media platform.

Worth mentioning, Dhoni holds an honorary Lieutenant Colonel rank in the Indian Army which was conferred to him after he led the Men in Blue to World Cup triumph in 2011.

Currently, he is posted in the militancy-infested region of South Kashmir as part of the Victor Force and is performing normal patrolling and guard duties in the valley. Rishabh Pant has been picked as India’s wicket-keeper across formats for the ongoing tour of West Indies.
