Angul, Jan 29: Abhisek Deo (202,65b, 26×6, 10×4) blasted Balaram Prasad bowlers to all parts of the ground to help Kulad enter the semifinals of the BHL Cup cricket tournament here Thursday.

Riding on the double century by Abhisek, Kulad beat Balaram Prasad by 80 runs. Opting to bat first Kulad scored 329 runs. In reply, Balaram Prasad started well, but could manage only 249 runs. Sipak Singh’s (110, 40b, 12×6, 5×4) effort went in vain during the chase.
