Balasore/Rupsa: In separate accidents, two people died in Balasore district Saturday.
A woman named Ninimani (52) was going on a two-wheeler with her relative. She fell off the bike at a speed breaker near a bridge in Balasore.
The woman was critically wounded and rushed to the district headquarters hospital where she succumbed to her injuries.
In another incident, a man named Praksh Giri (32) of Dharganj under Remuna block was unmindfully walking on platform-2 at the local railway station when he was knocked down by the Duranto Express.
Prakash was taken to a he hospital, but was declared dead on arrival.
