Cuttack: Odia film actor and MP Anubhav Mohanty received the decree of divorce that denotes the formal ending of his marriage with actress Varsha Priyadarshini, an ‘X’ (formerly Twitter) post shared by Mohanty stated.
Mohanty Wednesday took to ‘X’ and wrote, “Thanks all who prayed for me & my family’s peace Got my decree of divorce today, which is just a day before the completion of 10 worthless/meaningless/heartless/painful & above all, false marital years of my false marriage! I pray for her happiness. No Offence. #HappyRoseDay.”

The decree of divorce shared by the actor read, “It is ordered and decreed that the judgement dated 22.09.2023 passed by Judge, Family court, Cuttack in CP No: 246 of 2021 is reversed in appeal. This court hold ground under clause (1-a) under sub section (1) in section 13 of the Act proved by appellant-husband.”
“In the premises, the marriage solemnized on 8th February 2014 is dissolved by the decree of divorce hereby granted. The appeal is disposed of,” it read.
It can be mentioned here that the Orissa High Court granted divorce to Anubahv from Varsha December 21, 2023, overruling the Cuttack family court order that had earlier rejected the divorce petition filed by Mohanty.
