Mumbai: Varun Dhawan recently wrapped up the shooting for ‘Street Dancer’. According to reports, Varun became unconscious on the sets due to his prolong illness and shooting restlessly.
This is not the first time when an actor became unconscious during shoot. Here is a list of actors who fainted on sets:
Mohit Malik
Mohit Malik, who played the character of Sikander Singh Gill in the television show ‘Kullfi Kumarr Bajewala’, fell unconscious on sets. During the shooting, Mohit’s health was so bad that he fainted. In an interview, Mohit said, “When you are in character and shooting for 8 hours, you don’t take rest. Same thing happened with me. My character Sikandar is very close to my heart and the existing story line is quite emotional.”
Dipika Kakar
‘Bigg Boss’ winner Dipika Kakkar once fell unconscious while shooting. Dipika features in the show ‘Kahaan Hum Kahaan Tum’. Before the serial was aired, news of Dipika’s ill health was hared by the producer himself along with a photo on social media. In this serial, Karan Singh Grover is in the lead role opposite Dipika.
Rajeev Khandelwal
Famous TV actor Rajeev Khandelwal is also on the list of actors who fainted on set. This incident occurred during the talk show ‘Juzzbaatt 2018’ on Zee TV. Comedian Bharti was on the show when Rajeev became unconscious. Bharti was nervous and the crew came and handled them. The show has since gone off the air.
