It is the dream of every actress to work with the ‘King of Romance’, Shah Rukh Khan. The man who has churned out innumerable hits made his debut with ‘Deewana’ in 1992. In a career spanning close to 27 years, SRK has become a brand himself in the Hindi film industry. There are quite a few actress though, who have worked with Shah Rukh, but are no more in this mortal world. Here are six actresses who have acted in SRK movies, but have passed away.

Reema Lagoo: She mostly was SRK’s reel mother and acted in films like ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘Yes Boss’ and ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’. She passed away in 2017 after suffering a massive heart attack while shooting for a serial.

Divya Bharati: She was Shah Rukh’s love attraction in ‘Deewana’ which also had Rishi Kapoor as the main protagonist. Divya passed away in April 1993 when she was only 22 and at the prime of her career. Her death still remains a mystery as she fell from a high-rise.

Rasika Joshi: She worked with SRK in ‘Billu Barber’ and ‘Swadesh’ and did a commendable job. However, she fell a victim to leukaemia and breathed her last July 7, 2011 in a nursing home in Mumbai. She was only 38.

Sridevi: Sridevi and Shah Rukh worked together in two films only. The first was ‘Army’ in 1996 where SRK played Sridevi’s husband. In 2018, Sridevi, before her death February 24, shot a cameo for SRK’s ‘Zero’ which was released later in the year.

Zohra Sehgal: She played SRK’s grandmother in ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’, ‘Dil Se’ and ‘Kal Ho Naa Ho’. She passed away in 2014.

Sudha Shivpuri: She gained recognition for her role as Baa in the Hindi TV serial Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi (2000–2008). She worked with SRK in ‘Maya Memsaab’ (1993). She died in 2015 at the age of 77.
