ADYA FELT AMONG FAMILY IN STATE

Bhubaneswar: Adya Thakur, the lead actress in the upcoming Hindi film ‘O Puspa I Hate Tears’ was recently in the state capital for the picturisation of the song ‘Tu Hai Aur Teri Aashqui’ from the film. The Kolkatan, a student of IT and Management, has played big roles in various television serials and also modelled for different Magazines.

According to director Amulya Kumar Das, Adya was a wonderful artiste and was playing the lead character named Arati, a multifaceted personality. “It is amazing to see her perform with great ease even with stalwarts such as Krishna Abhishek. The team is shooting day and night to finish filming the song within schedule as rains have caused some difficulties,” Das said.

Krishna Abhishek, in turn, said Adya was the most punctual and disciplined artist on the sets. He told Orissa POST that it was amazing to shoot the song in Odisha, especially in Bhubaneswar and that Adya had done a great job as a performer. “In fact, she is the surprise packet of the movie besides the story and cast,” Krishna said.

Adya said she found Odisha a beautiful place and that it felt wonderful sitting in the lap of nature. “People are very helpful and I felt like my family was around me,” she said. The movie is already creating a buzz on social media as its title is a famous dialogue from the film ‘Amar Prem’ delivered by its lead actor the late Rajesh Khanna.
