Mumbai: After the release of ‘Accidental Prime Minister’ starring Anupam Kher based on the life of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s life, now comes the turn of PM Modi.
Director Omung Kumar will helm the biopic on Narendra Modi. Starring Vivek Oberoi in the lead role, the film will be produced by Sandip Ssingh, reports said.
Noted film critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh shared the news on Twitter.
He wrote: “IT’S OFFICIAL… Vivekanand Oberoi [Vivek Oberoi] to star in Narendra Modi biopic, titled #PMNarendraModi… Directed by Omung Kumar… Produced by Sandip Ssingh… First look poster will be launched 7 Jan 2019… Filming starts mid-Jan 2019.”

According to Taran Adarsh the film title by PM Narendra Modi will share the poster in Mumbai January 7.
On work front, Vivek was last seen in Kannada movie Commando and Tamil film Vivegam. Currently, the team has acquired the necessary permissions to go forth with the film only a few weeks ago.
Meanwhile, the Accidental Prime Minister has been receiving flak from all quarters. Congress accused the BJP of trying to spoil the image of Rahul and Sonia Gandhi through the movie ahead of the 2019 elections.
