Mumbai: The case of Sushant Singh Rajput has been politicised and yet to get any conclusion. Meanwhile, model and YouTuber Saahil Choudhary, who was posing as a journalist, has been arrested by the Mumbai Police Tuesday for allegedly posting abusive content against women on social media.

Actress Kangana Ranaut has reacted to the arrest and also demanded his early release.

Kangana is very active on social media. She often gives her opinion on socio-political issues. Kangana condemned the arrest of Saahil. She has also targeted the Maharashtra government. Kangana on her Twitter account has also demanded the arrest of producer-director Anurag Kashyap, who is facing allegations of sexual exploitation.

Kangana wrote in her tweet, “What is this gunda raaj going on in Mumbai? No one can question world’s most incompetent CM and his team? What will they do to us? Break our houses and kill us?  @INCIndia who is answerable for this? #istandwithsaahilchoudhary”

The actress wrote in her second tweet, “Somebody random files a FIR against Saahil for questioning Maha Government’s work which is his democratic right and Shaahil is jailed immediately but #PayalGhosh has filed a FIR against #AnuragKashyap many days ago for rape but he is roaming free. Kya hai yeh sab @INCIndia” ?

Both these tweets of Kangana are going viral on social media. Many fans of the actress are reacting to her tweet. After the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, the model and YouTuber Saahil Chaudhary, who questioned the role of various politicians and Hindi celebrities, was picked up by Mumbai Police from his house in Sector-19, Faridabad. The Mumbai Police took this action quietly Monday without giving any information to the local police.

Saahil Choudhary has posted several videos on the Sushant Singh Rajput case, many of which have no basis in facts. He has been arrested under sections 509, 505 (2), 500, 501, 504 and 34 of IPC. He has also been charged under Section 67 of Information Technology Act, 2000.
