“Aisi Chai Ki Dushman Ko Bhi Dost Banaye”: Global hero Abhinandan sips tea in Pakistan’s tea stall

Islamabad/New Delhi: Wing Commander Abhinandan Varthaman has become a global hero and has even created soft corner even in the people of Pakistan.

A tea stall in Pakistan has put up a banner with an image of Wing Commander Varthaman, sipping tea, and the text on the banner in Urdu reads:

This picture was shared by a person named Umar Farooq on Twitter, since this picture is going viral on social media.

Earlier, the promotion of a tea in Pakistan went viral on the social media, but later it was revealed that the video was fake.

Worth mentioning, Wing Commander Varthaman was chasing Pakistani jets with a MiG -21 Bison fighter plane in Jammu and Kashmir February 27 and crossed over to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) where his aircraft was shot down after a dog fight.

Thought, he ejected safely and was under the custody of Pakistan Army because his parachute drifted and fell inside the PoK. But following the Geneva Convention, he was released March 1 after Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan February 28 announced to release him as “a peace gesture.”
