Bhubaneswar: Cold wave condition is very likely to be experienced in Odisha in the next two days, warned the Regional Meteorological Department, Tuesday.
Director of regional IMD centre, Bhubaneswar, HR Biswas said night temperature during this period is likely to fall by three to four degree Celsius in the districts. He predicted this trend with minor fluctuation that will continue till the end of this month.
The department has predicted that the weather will be dry for the next five days.
“The state may experience an increase in the cold condition after two days. There will be traces of cloud in the coastal and interior parts of South Odisha. However after two to three days, the clouds will gradually disappear and the change in climate will aid in reducing the temperature further,” added Biswas.
