Cuttack, Jan 24: Angul scripted an emphatic eight wicket victory over Malkangiri in the OCA U-19 Inter-District cricket tournament at the Nimpur Ground here Saturday. Ratan Biswakarma(5/34) wrecked havoc with his bowling, while Chinmay Pradhan (61 n o) and Nirnimesh Jena (50 n o) hit unbeaten half centuries as Angul chased the victory target of 137 runs with ease, losing only two wickets in the process.

(At Ravenshaw Ground–II): KIIT 200 (Kunal Roy 55, Debasis Pradhan 3/34) beat Ganjam 137 (Anurag Prusty 5/38) by 63 runs.

(At S.C.B. Medical College Ground): Sundargarh 209 (Sanjay Das 58, Suraj Singh 56; K.Mahesh 3/42) beat Koraput 129 (Suvam Rath 45 n o; Sanjay Das 4/26) by 80 runs.

 

(At DRIEMS Ground): Mayurbhanj 198 in 47 (Chranjit Das 60; Siki Netam 3/19) lost to Nuapada 201/8 (Bansidhar Acharya 56 n o; Deb Kishan Saha 4/42) by two wickets.
