Bhubaneswar: A total of 376 patients have recovered from COVID-19 in the state, the Health and Family Welfare (H&FW) Department, Government of Odisha said in a series of tweets Thursday. With the new recoveries, the total number of recovered patients in Odisha now stands at 3,20,584. All the recovered patients have been discharged from their respective treatment facilities, the H&FW department said in another tweet. Earlier the day Odisha registered 351 new cases of COVID-19 and reported five fresh fatalities.
Khurda district with 50 new recoveries topped the list of districts from where recoveries have been reported. It was followed by Angul (48) and Sundargarh (43) in second and third positions respectively. The other districts that reported recoveries on the day were Balasore and Cuttack (23 each), Puri (22), Bargarh, Kalahandi and Bolangir (19 each), Mayurbhanj (18), Sambalpur (14), Nupada (11), Jharsuguda (10), Ganjam (nine), Jajpur (eight), Jagatsinghpur (seven), Bhadrak and Kendrapara (five each), Dhenkanal (three), Boudh, Nabarangpur and Rayagada (two each), Kandhamal and Koraput (one each).
The state pool reported 10 cases of fresh recoveries Thursday.
