Bhubaneswar: Odisha health department Wednesday said that 660 persons who earlier tested positive for COVID-19 have recovered and are being discharged.
Out of the 660 persons, 56 are from Mayurbhanj, 55 from Angul, 54 from Khordha, 46 from Sundargarh, 42 from Bolangir, 39 from Jagatsinghpur, 38 from Balasore, 38 from Cuttack, 37 from Keonjhar, 28 from Jharsuguda, 26 from Kendrapara, 26 from Nuapada, 23 from Puri, 23 from Sambalpur, 17 from Bargarh, 17 from Jajpur, 16 from Dhenkanal, 15 from Bhadrak, 11 from Kalahandi, eight from Malkangiri, eight from Nabarangpur, four from Deogarh, four from Ganjam, four from Koraput, four from Rayagada, three from Kandhamal, three from Nayagarh, two from Gajapati, two from Sonepur and 11 from State Pool.
With this, total recoveries in the state now stand at 3,13,394.
Meanwhile, Odisha’s COVID-19 caseload touched 3,19,583 with the detection of 480 new cases, while six more fatalities pushed its coronavirus death toll to 1,750.
As many as 276 new cases were reported from quarantine centres, while 204 people tested positive for the infection during contact tracing.
The state Tuesday tested 37,069 samples for COVID-19, taking the total number of tests conducted so far to 59.77 lakh.
