New Delhi: The Odisha Lalit Kala Akademi Saturday organised a national level art exhibition, displaying 60 paintings of eminent artists of Odisha, at the Lalit Kala Akademi here to promote Odia art.
The exhibition, which was inaugurated by Chief Resident Commissioner of Odisha Sunil Bhargav, will continue till February 28.
Odisha Lalit Kala Akademi Secretary Manas Ranjan Das said 60 eminent painters from Odisha have been displaying their art work in the exhibition.
“This is the first time Odisha Lalit Kala Akademi organised a national level art exhibition in Delhi to promote Odia art and artists. It will help the Odia artists connect with art lovers at national level,” said Das.
The occasion was graced by eminent artists Amitav Das, Vinod Bhardwaj, international sand artist and Padmashree awardee Sudarshan Pattaniak and Odisha Water Resource department Principal Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena among others.
