ASDC bags ICC Social Impact Award

Bhubaneswar: Adani Skill Development Centre (ASDC) received the Special Jury Recognition Award at the Indian Chamber of Commerce Social Impact Awards ceremony held in Kolkata Friday. Head of Skill Development Jatin Trivedi received the award on behalf of the foundation.

ASDC competed with 20 other nominees under the Employment Enhancing Vocational Skills in Medium Project category.

Adani Foundation chairperson Priti Adani said ASDC is not only skilling the youth of India but also giving them confidence to grow in every aspect of their lives.

The ASDC is one of the first skill imparting institutes in the country to offer innovative and unique courses like simulator-based crane operation, 3D printing, and welding through augmented reality.

Through ASDC, the foundation aims to create job opportunities for 3 lakh people by 2022. Currently, there are more than 60 centres functioning across India offering skill training in 40 trades.
