Patnagarh: Vigilance sleuths Tuesday raided multiple places in connection with allegations against Patnagarh Works Department assistant executive engineer for acquiring assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
The accused has been identified as Kishore Patra.
Acting on a tip-off, Vigilance officers of the anti-corruption agency conducted simultaneous raids at four places including Patra’s residence at Patnagarh and his office along with couple of other places lined to him.
That said, the exact amount of disproportionate assets including his movable and immovable properties that Patra possesses is yet to be ascertained, officials said. Till last reports came in, the raids were underway.
