Avoid these common mistakes when visiting a salon during COVID-19

After trying all the home remedies and DIYs at home, finally people have started going to salons for haircut and make-up. But, keep one thing in mind that the lockdown is over but not the novel COVID-19 virus.

The danger is still out there, so you need to take extra precautions and safety while stepping out of the house.

While salons have opened you should keep these things in mind:

Whenever you step you out of the house make sure that you always wear a mask and try to wear a three-layer mask as it provides more protection to you from this virus. Your nose and mouth both should be properly covered. If you are going for a haircut, hair spa, etc., do not remove your mask.

Also, make sure that the person who is attending you is wearing masks and gloves too.

Take a prior appointment – Now it is more important to take an appointment before going to salons, as this will not only save your time but you will also avoid coming in any unwanted contact with other customers.

See if they are following all the safety measures or not which is prescribed by the government.

Not only the staff should be well trained and routinely checked, but the salon premises also play a major role. Make sure that the cutting sheet, towels, and shoe covers are disposable.

While you are ensuring that the salon is well and good but you also need to take the safety precautions as the customers need to play a key role in creating awareness and stopping the spread of virus. Make sure your hand is sanitised and if you have mild symptoms of fever and cold do not step out of the house.
