Mumbai: Ayushmann Khurrana has done it again, no doubt that. ‘Dream Girl’ featuring Ayushmann Khurrana and Nushrat Bharucha will make the audience laugh so much that it will bring tears to the eyes. The time and the panache with which the two have acted in the film is really worth standing up and applauding.
Humour has many forms and one at times is compelled to laugh, but no, not for ‘Dream Girl’. It is a rib-tickling humour story with a message which states we have become so obsessed with the virtual world that we not just don’t have time for those who are our near and dear ones.
The way Ayushmann Khuranna has portrayed the role of a woman in ‘Dream Girl’ that it will leave an ever-lasting mark in the mind of the audience. One can be sure of one fact… many men are going to come home and impersonate Ayushmann, such is the actor’s strong presence in the movie.
Ayushmann is now running away to glory at breakneck speed the ‘Dream Girl’ is one more feather in his cap. For him now sky is the limit and his choice of roles always makes him sit apart from the rest of his clan.
Nushrat Bharucha has a stunning on-screen presence screen. It is not easy to keep pace with a versatile actor as Ayushmann. But she has done just that, matching her hero step for step. It is indeed her performance that adds to the sheen of the film, no doubt about that.
The film would have been incomplete without the likes of Vijay Raaz, Manjot Singh, Rajesh Sharma and Shashi Ranjan. They also contributed to the success of the film with Nidhi Bisht is the icing on the cake.
