Cuttack: The ongoing marital dispute between Kendrapara MP Anubhav Mohanty and his wife actress Barsha Priyadarshini took a new turn with the actress and her mother-in-law filling separate police complaints recently.
In her complaint lodged at Puri Ghat police station, Barsha has alleged that the family members of Anubhav have hatched a conspiracy to drive her out of the house. She said the move came at a time when she has no accommodation. Barsha has demanded a police probe into the matter.
Countering the allegations of Barsha, her mother-in-law also lodged a complaint at the same Puri Ghat police station. She said that their house is a 60-year-old building and is in urgent need of repair. The family has decided to shift elsewhere for 10 days so that urgent repairing work can be carried out. However, Barsha is refusing to vacate the place.
The dispute between the couple has been a topic for gossipmongers ever since the actress filed a case of domestic violence against the actor-turned-politician at a court in Cuttack in September this year.
