Bhubaneswar: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Thursday announced candidates for 99 MLA seats in Odisha.
The saffron party has renominated nine sitting MLAs of the state. The party, currently, has 10 members in the 147-seat Assembly. For Chilika seat, BJP has nominated leader Prithviraj Harichandan in place of his uncle Bibhuti Harichandan.
However, the party has not announced candidates for Hinjili and Bijepur segments, where BJD president and CM Naveen Patnaik would fight.
BJP has accommodated allmost all former BJD leaders who recently joined the saffron party.
