Cuttack, Jan 30: Bhubaneswar-B and Keonjhar earned massive victories against their opponents in their respective matches of the U-19 Inter-District cricket tournament at various grounds here Friday.
At Bidanasi Ground, Bhubaneswar-B thrashed Sonepur by a huge margin of 231 runs. Smitesh Mohapatra (89) and Sarthak Siba Mohapatra (51) hit half centuries as Bhubaneswar-B scored 300 for the loss of nine wickets. In reply, Sonepur were all out for meagre 69 runs thanks to a brilliant bowling effort by Suryakant Samal (4/4)
At DRIEMS Ground, Keonjhar beat Dhenkanal by 10 wickets. Sujit Barik (4/41) bowled well to help Keonjhar restrict Dhenkanal for 177. Then keonjhar cantered home without any loss with Subhransu S Senapati (112 n o) hitting a fluent century.
