Mumbai: Azhar film actress Prachi Desai turns a year older Tuesday. She shot to fame with the TV show Kasamh Se at the age of 17 only. Prachi Desai has already established her place in the Hindi film industry by being part of hit movies such as Rock On!!, Once Upon a Time in Mumbaai, Bol Bachchan, I Me Aur Main and Azhar.
Prachi was a big fan of actor Shahid Kapoor in her school days. However, with time, Hrithik Roshan became her favourite.
On the personal front, she was once linked with filmmaker Rohit Shetty. It was one of the most talked-about rumoured relationships in the industry, but there was a catch.
Rohit was happily married to Maya Shetty from May 27, 2009. It was an arranged marriage. The couple has a son named Ishaan Shetty. However, his happily married life gradually deteriorated following reports of him getting close to actress Prachi Desai during the shooting of Bol Bachchan which surfaced on social media.
As stated in the reports, at the time of the shooting, Rohit couldn’t help but get attracted to Prachi. There were rumours that the two of them had started living together. During a shoot in Jaipur, Rohit even took the actress for a romantic dinner. Well, after some time, their relationship came to an end, and Shetty went back to his wife.
Neither Rohit nor Prachi talked about these speculations publicly, keeping them just rumours. The best thing was that both celebrities didn’t let this failed relationship affect the shooting of Bol Bachchan.
