Bhubaneswar: The Biju Janata Dal (BJD) Members of Parliament walked out of the Lok Sabha (LS) before the ‘No Confidence Motion’ was put to debate against Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led National Democratic Alliance Government Friday.
Soon after the Lower House of Parliament assembled for the day and Speaker Sumitra Mahajan begun the proceedings of the House, BJD Lok Sabha Leader and Cuttack MP Bhartruhari Mahtab stood up and apprised the Speaker. He said that they are walking out of the Lower House before the ‘No Confidence Motion’ as BJD vehemently protests against the Central Governments, including the incumbent NDA for their step-motherly attitude and utter neglect of Odisha and its people.
