New Delhi: The Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) Friday appointed Baijayant Jay Panda — who joined the Saffron Party Monday — as the national vice president and spokesperson.
According to a statement issued by BJP general secretary, Amit Shah has appointed Panda as national vice president and spokesperson of the party with immediate effect.
While speaking on Panda’s appointment as vice president, Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan said that Baijayant Panda’s experience will strengthen the party in Odisha and will help BJP in building a new Odisha and bring back Narendra Modi government at the Centre.
