Ganjam: The carcass of a male blackbuck was recovered from Jagati near Bhetnai under Aska forest range in Ganjam district Wednesday.
According to reports, the 3-feet long and 2.5-feet tall blackbuck was in the age group of 8-9 years.
On getting information, the forest officials reached the spot, recovered the carcass and sent it for post-mortem.
According to veterinary doctors, the blackbuck died due to brain haemorrhage.
At least three carcasses of blackbucks were recovered from the same place September 4.
