Bhubaneswar: Global K-pop band ‘BLACKSWAN’ has amazed fans once again with their highly-anticipated second single, titled ‘That Karma,’ featuring the mesmerizing vocals of Odisha’s Sriya Lenka.
The much-awaited single was released Friday.
The enchantment of Old Town and the splendour of Shanti Stupa at Dhauli were captured in the music video, which was extensively recorded in Bhubaneswar.
Expressing her excitement for the upcoming album, Sriya Lenka shared, “We are thrilled to finally share our hard work and make our comeback with ‘That Karma.’
“This album represents our growth as a group, and we’ve poured our hearts and souls into bringing our fans something new and unique. We can’t wait for everyone to hear it and see what we have in store” Sriya added.
It’s been about a year and a half since their last album ‘Close to me’ was released back in October 2021. BLACKSWAN is the only K-pop girl group consisting of foreigners without Korean members in current K-pop scene.
Notably, the girls had toured Odisha during Men’s Hockey World Cup 2023 earlier this year, which added an extra layer of significance to the production.
Shreya, whose stage name is Sriya, the first Indian to become a K-Pop artiste. She joined the music group Blackswan in May 2022 as its fifth member.
