Jagatsinghpur: A kanwariya went missing and another was rescued while they were picking up water at Jhula Baba Ghat of Mahanadi river passing through Tirtol in Jagatsinghpur district Monday morning.
They slipped into the river as they were collecting water. The rescued youth, Saroj Nath, is undergoing treatment at Manijanga government hospital.
The missing person has been identified as Raj Kishore Das from Mahammadabad village.
The rescue operation by the fire department personnel was going on till this report was filed.
