Breaking: Sonia Gandhi quits as interim Congress chief

New Delhi: After several Congress leaders wrote to party president Sonia Gandhi for overhaul of the organizational structure and changes to the leadership, several reports have emerged that Gandhi has quit as the interim chief o the party.

Around two dozen Congress leaders Sunday wrote a letter to Sonia Gandhi seeking change in leadership of the party ahead of the Congress Working Committee meet Monday.

Responding to the letter, Gandhi told them that she was not interested in leading the party anymore and that party leaders should get together to find a new chief.
