Cuttack: Three bus owners from Balasore, Nayagarh and Cuttack presented their permit-related issues during a grievance hearing conducted at the State Transport Authority (STA) office here Monday. The hearing is being conducted under the direction of the state government. The session took place between 11 am and 2 pm in the presence of senior STA officials. Grievance hearings will be held every Monday. In the event Monday is a holiday, the hearing will be conducted on the next working day, a release issued by the STA said. “Immediate steps are taken to send relevant officials to resolve grievances promptly. Additionally, a seven-day timeframe is allocated for resolving these grievances,” the release added. Apart from Monday grievance hearings, grievances related to transport services can be sent over social media and the 24- hour call centre (1800 345 1073), the released said. At Monday’s grievance hearing, Additional Transport Commissioner Indramani Nayak, Lalmohan Sethy, Deeptiranjan Patra, Joint Transport Commissioner Pradeep Kumar Mohanty, STA Secretary Chinmayee Biswal, Kanakchampa Meher, Dillip Sahu, and Bijay Mishra were present.
