Rourkela: Armed burglars have reportedly looted cables worth Rs 50 lakh from the Raaghavendra Metal Factory at Mandikudar near Rajgangpur here Sunday night.
According to the factory owner Pitabasa Chhottray, the robbers barged into the metal factory and injured five workers before looting the cables. He filed a complaint at the Kansbahal out-post.
The injured were admitted to the Ispat General Hospital. The condition of four of them is slated to be stable while one has been undergoing treatment.
The police have reached the spot and launched an investigation.
