Baliguda: General elections is round the corner, and all the major political parties have started their poll campaign, they are taking steps to strengthen their organisational structure by putting posters and banners and the festival week has given a raised platform for the publicity and campaigning. Through the posters, the aspiring candidates wished the people on the occasion of the New Years Eve.
Political fever has gripped Baliguda Sadar area, the region seems to have turned to a hub as scores of posters and banners of political heavyweights, leaders, activists and aspirant candidates have are laid out at all the major vantage points.
In the posters all party chiefs and inspirational leaders have booked their space and the aspiring candidate’s picture has been printed by their side.
While a few days ago, many posters of BJP were found torn and stolen at several places of Baliguda, this time it was Congress’ posters and banners who bore the brunt. It is suspected that some miscreants might have stolen the banners.
The matter has become the talk of Baliguda town triggering a high voltage political drama.
