Boudh: A candidate appearing for the Assistant Section Officer (ASO) recruitment examination Sunday was detained by the police for allegedly committing malpractice during the test by using a smart watch.
The detainee, hailing from Nayagarh district, was appearing for the exam at the Boudh Panchayat College. He reportedly texted the questions to someone through a smart watch which he was wearing.
The accused also received answers via the device. However, the act was detected by the invigilators.
On being informed, the police reached the examination centre and detained the candidate for questioning.
