Bhubaneswar: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) have arrested a chit fund firm’s director from Madhya Pradesh Friday and he was forwarded to court Saturday. The Special CBI Judge Court here remanded him to judicial custody of 14 days.
As per sources, the arrested person has been identified as executive director of Nirmal chit fund company Niranjan Saksena.
Saksena was arrested from Bhopal in Madhya Pradesh last night while he was taken for medical examination in the Capital Hospital here today morning before being forwarded to court later in the day.
Sources also said that arrested Niranjan Saksena and his ponzi firm have been accused of committing a scam of Rs 431 crore in Odisha as many gullible investors have been duped.
