Bhubaneswar: The CBSE Friday announced the results of Class X and XII examinations for the year 2023.
For the Class X examinations, Bhubaneswar ranked eighth among top 10 cities in the country with a 93.64 pass percentage.
Similarly for Class XII, the Bhubaneswar region ranked 11th among the 16 regions in the senior school certificate exam. About 83.89 per cent of the students passed in the region.
Notably, for both Class X and XII examinations, Trivandrum region topped the country.
This year a total of 21,65,805 students appeared in the annual Class X examinations, out of which 20,16,779 students cleared it. Similarly, about 87.33 per cent of 16,80,511 students who appeared for the Class XII board examinations have cleared it.
It can be mentioned here that all across India over 3.08 lakh students have scored above 90 per cent marks in the CBSE Class X and Class XII examinations while over 66,000 secured scores above 95 per cent.
In Class XII, as many as 1,12,838 students have scored over 90 per cent while 22,622 candidates secured over 95 per cent marks.
In Class X, 1,95,799 candidates scored over 90 per cent marks while 44,297 scored over 95 per cent.
