The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued an important notification concerning the registration data submission for the academic year 2023-24 for students in class-IX and Class-XI.
In its latest communication, CBSE has announced an extension of the deadline for the submission of registration data for class-IX and Class-XI due to requests from various schools. Here are the revised deadlines for submitting registration data for the academic year 2023-24:
- Without incurring a late fee: Till October 25, 2023
- With a late fee: From October 26 to October 29, 2023

Registering students in class-IX and Class-XI serves the purpose of facilitating advanced planning for the upcoming class-X and Class-XII examinations. Additionally, this process aids in promptly conveying students’ personal details to their parents to rectify any inaccuracies.
In a previous announcement, CBSE emphasized that schools must initially input the information on the OASIS portal with utmost care, as changes to the declared section and student numbers will not be allowed at a later stage.
