Mumbai: Normally we have a mindset that a man or woman marries a person from the same field in which he works, but several actresses of the Hindi film industry chose to break the trend. While many actresses got married to the stars from the glam world only, there are many who chose their life partners from outside the fraternity.

Preity finally married an American who had nothing to do with the film industry and had not seen a single film of hers when they met. Preity Zinta got married to Gene Goodenough in a private wedding ceremony in Los Angeles in February 2016.
Tina Munim
Tina met Anil Ambani in 1986, and fell in love straightaway. But Ambani family disapproved this match. However, with time love conquered all and they finally tied the knot in February 1991.
John Abraham
Dhoom actor John Abraham broke the news of his marriage with Priya Runchal who is an investment banker through a Tweet in January 2014.
Asin
Asin married Micromax Co-founder Rahul Sharma in New Delhi January 19. The Ghajini actress had a Christian style wedding in the morning which was followed by another ceremony following the Hindu rituals. Akshay Kumar, who played cupid in their wedding was the Best Man.
Vivek Oberoi
Saathiya actor, after his break-up with Aishwarya Rai, also found love outside the film industry. Daughter of Karnataka minister Jeevaraj Alva, Priyanka married Vivek in 2010, and now they have two children.
Juhi Chawla
Former Miss India Juhi Chawla married England-based industrialist Jay Mehta in 1995. The couple co-owns the Indian Premier League’s team, Kolkata Knight Riders, along with Shah Rukh Khan. They are blessed with two children.
Gayatri Joshi
Swades actress Gayatri Joshi married Vikas Oberoi, who is the managing director of Oberoi Construction. The actress tied the knot with Vikas in a private ceremony August 27, 2005. The couple is blessed with two sons.
