Baripada: Odisha vigilance officials Friday conducted simultaneous raids on the real-estate properties of a pharmacist engaged at Rangamatia community health centre in Mayurbhanj district on charges of amassing assets disproportionate to his known sources of income.
The anti-corruption sleuths swooped down on pharmacist Sandeep Kumar Pati’s office and raided his father’s residence in Baripada town and three-storeyed building which was rented to several commercial establishments.
The exact amount of the wealth traced out is not yet known as the search was underway till last reports came in.
