Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik extends Holi greetings

Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik extended his greetings and best wishes to the State’s people on the auspicious occasion of Holi. 

In his message, the CM wished may the Festival of Colours bring happiness, peace and prosperity in the lives of all the people. He also hoped that the festival brings brotherhood among all.

The CM said that Holi is the symbol of Indian culture and social harmony. Patanik said that festival of Holi promotes brotherhood and brings about prosperity in life. He urged people to celebrate Holi with traditional harmony and enthusiasm. He also called out the people to play safe Holi.

He urged the people to celebrate the festival in its true spirit and wished that it would help in promoting brotherhood amongst all.

 

The festival of colours is the harbinger of joy, happiness and fulfillment and wished that the joyous festivities would infuse in us a sense of compassion for our fellow human beings in the lives of the people.

However, the CM refrained from celebrating Holi as a mark of respect to the martyrs of Pulwama terror attack in Jammu and Kashmir. Patnaik has also requested to all his well-wishers not to visit his residence (Naveen Niwas) here, an official communication issued in this regard said.
