Bhubaneswar: The Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha announced the results of Plus-II Arts and Vocational Studies Thursday.
According to CHSE, 78.88 per cent of students passed the Plus-II Arts examinations, while 67.48 per cent of students cleared the examinations in Vocational Studies this year.
As many as 1,81,869 students cleared the Plus-II Arts examinations out of which around 32,782 students got first division; 32,461 students secured second division and 1,16,179 students cleared the examinations with third division.
Balasore emerged as the district having the highest pass percentage of 84.97 per cent while Nabarangpur recorded the lowest pass percentage of 70.74 per cent in Arts stream results.
Notably, girls outshone boys as the result confirmed that while 85.66 per cent of girls cleared the examinations, only 70.43 per cent of boys managed to do so in Arts stream.
On the other hand, in Vocational Studies as many as 3,860 students were able to pass the examinations out of which around 843 students got first division; 1,751 students secured second division and 1,115 students cleared the examinations with third division.
Similarly, in Vocational Studies’ results, girls have outperformed boys as 71.10 per cent of girls passed the examinations as compared to 64.23 per cent of boys.
