Bhubaneswar: Following the announcement of matriculation results in the state, the Council of Secondary Education (CHSE), Odisha released the Plus-II examinations’ results Sunday.

CHSE officials published the results of all three streams — Arts, Science and Commerce — at a press conference at CHSE office in Bhubaneswar.
The pass percentages of Arts, Science and Commerce stood at 80.95, 86.93 and 82.27 respectively.
CHSE Chairman Aswhini Mishra said, “The last time the results of all three streams were published on the same date was in 2008. After 16 years, we released the results of all the streams of Plus-II examinations simultaneously today”.
“Girl students have reportedly done better than boy students in all the three streams”, Mishra informed.
The pass percentage of boys in Arts is logged at 72.68 and that of girls is 87.56. In Science, 86.21 per cent of boys cleared the examination while 87.74 per cent of girls passed the board examination. Similarly, in Commerce, 80.40 per cent of boys have passed while the pass percentage of girls is 85.55.
Apart from three regular three streams, around 68.02 per cent of vocational education students were able to pass the examination.
According to CHSE, as many as 21 higher secondary schools in Arts, 292 schools in Science and 92 schools in Commerce have produced 100 per cent results.
It can be mentioned here that not a single school has reported zero results.
Notably, the Plus-II examinations for 2024 were conducted from February 16 to March 20 this year across the state.
